Byron Bay

We LOVED Byron Bay! helped by beautiful weather and the beach you see below was our campsite! Our caravan was above it overlooking this stunning view! From our caravan we could watch the sun rising and setting and at night hear the waves rolling in. The town was at the other end of the park so everything was at our fingertips. No highrises in sight, just a lovely beach town. The second day we rode to the beach near Byron's famous lighthouse then legged it up about a thousand steps to the lighthouse where we did the tour. The rest of the time we spent either on the beach or eating!!
our beach!

at the back of the beach was a little chill out area with hand made beach art including these awesome comfy seats woven from the pandanus leaves..
