Uralla, Walcha & Gloucster

Uralla was 'Captain Thunderbolt' country. Abit of an outlaw much like Ned Kelly. It was also where we nearly froze our tootsies off! The second morning we woke to minus 5! Our bed ceilings were a sheet of ice from our condensation and the glass of water next to my bed was frozen solid as was the water hose so no water when we first got up! It was then that we decided to scamper and get down the mountain to Gloucster where even though it was still cold it was above 0!! This area is also well known for its fine wool so i bought some and have started knitting a throw rug!
