our camp site.. our first stop was Jabiru
The afternoon we arrived we walked to the cultural centre. Something ive found wonderful about the outback and NT has been the local cultural and information centres. They are so interactive and interesting with photos and displays etc The photos above are of the one at Jabiru, the one directly above is of the cages they use to catch crocodiles in areas they are trying to clear in populated areas after the wet season. Two photos above that is of a billabong display and what its like under the water looking up at the surface.
nice cool swim after a long hot walk!
