Unfortunately the weather really turned when Rob and Jack came to visit but we still had a good time and it was great to see them! It wasnt cold, but overcast and rainy. Some of the better photos of Rob and i are on my phone and its my old one so i cant get them onto the computer at the moment! Our first day we headed into town and as a surprise Jack and i bought the boys an early birthday present -cruiser skateboards! Very cool! Great for the east coast and there's lots of esplanades to cruise along!
KURANDA
The next day we took a day trip to Kuranda up in the mountains. We took the train up and the skyrail down. The journey down ended up very long and wet and a tiny bit nerve racking!
Kuranda is a very pretty town though and the market was gorgeous. Lots of street art..
